Real Madrid defender David Alaba wins Austrian Player of the Year award This is the ninth time he has received the award,

Third place went to both RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer and Feyenoord defender Gernot Trauner, who got seven points.

“I’m aware that it’s be a special year and it makes me happy that my hard work is also recognised in my country,” the defender added, in reference to Real Madrid’s La Liga title and Champions League trophy last season. 

Alaba did a great job against “White King” in 2022, having helped the team win La Liga, Super Cup and Champions League.
